How nice it is to feel that we are all a little bit crazy. I ‘m a little crazy, you’ re a little crazy, she’ s a little bit crazy, and he ‘ s already going crazy. Sometimes, hospital broadcasts bring us news that can seem pretty crazy, but those”crazies” are often so rewarding that you could spend all day in that room . one could spend all day in that room.
Other times, we are warned that someone is not well, but that’s where the magic comes in: we manage to change everything with laughter, games and songs, transforming the atmosphere in such a profound way that even the nurses are surprised.
We also accompany delicate processes, where sometimes the staff tell us that it is better not to go in, but it is the family themselves who ask us to be there. We are there at different times in the hospital; we are not always there to make people laugh or sing. Often, we are also there to listen or to bring the person to a memory that brings love, peace and harmony in such difficult times.
How nice it is when someone sees you in the corridors and says: “Aiii! You are the best thing about this hospital! I see you and you make my day!” Each of these comments makes our work more and more meaningful, and motivates us to keep trying every day, to improve and to live up to it.
As always, a super kiss.
