The other day, I was in Son Espases Hospital when a little girl from Ibiza came by—a girl I hadn’t seen in a long time—and I was amazed at how beautiful she looked. I had spent many months visiting her in the Pediatric Oncology Ward, and sometimes she wasn’t too excited about us clowns coming around. But this time, she laughed the moment she saw us.

Seeing a child overcoming their battle with cancer is an incomparable joy. It’s not just that her mood was so radiant or that her gaze seemed to glow with light, but also the sight of her parents filled with genuine happiness—not the forced smiles they had to put on during the tough and difficult times they endured.

It’s a feeling that moves you deeply and spreads that sense of happiness to everyone around!

Long live medicine, long live doctors and nurses, and long live health!
